Animation

I love animation, me. I want to do more of it.

This year I completed my longest, and I think my best, animation - a DVD called Whack to the Future for Teenage Cancer Trust.

My work on the Moxy Malone - Antibiotic Detective campaign last year won an IPR North East award. It was aimed at reducing antibiotic overprescription, and it seems to have been pretty effective, as prescribing rates have fallen.

My very first broadcast animation was the opening title sequence for The Regionnaires, a comedy quiz show which aired on Tyne Tees Television. The animation brought to life Alex Collier's cartoon drawings of the show's regulars - quizmaster Simon Donald and team captains Gav Webster and Catboy, not to mention the one true megastar of the region - Mike Neville!
Of course the fact that Simon Donald is my brother in no way helped me to get the contract.

Alex Collier has now decided to study animation himself, so we may work together more in future!
