Not many goals but plenty of action, after a goaless league derby game. The first round of the cup competition took place. Heddon 'A' kept a clean sheet as they came under immense attacking pressure. The only Heddon goal of the day was taken well beating the defenders with ease. More goals could have been taken if the opposing keeper had not been on such great form.

The league has just introduced a fair Play trophy which will be awarded at the end of the season to the team who receives the least number of Yellow or red cards. this presentation will be held in May 2001 at St James Park Newcastle. and if the season continues the way it has been going so far, Heddon should be coming away with several trophies.

The club is soon to double in size with the introduction of 5 a side teams for the 9- 13 year olds. (each of these teams must include a girl) Several new leaders have been recruited to help. Any interested players are asked to contact the Club directly through the e mail address given on this web-site.
