As far as can be ascertained, all the material on this disc was recorded during 2002. Following a couple of years in which Rod Clements and Ray Laidlaw held a high profile as the bands spokesmen (local radio interviews and an appearance on Yorkshire TVs Tonight programme), it was now the turn of Billy Mitchell and Rod to promote the band. Convenient also, because later in the year the band would tour the U.S.A. as Lindisfarne Acoustic, a stripped down version of the band, consisting of the duo plus the added talents of Dave Hull-Denholm.

First CD track is from the month of March. Its the unstoppable Caroline Harrys radio request on the Lindisfarne-friendly-Mike Harding Show (BBC Radio 2) for This Guitar Never Lies.

Local BBC Radio Humberside is also Lindisfarne- friendly, and their interviews comprise most of the material presented on this CD. With the second track, Steve Massam interviews R n B (5thFebruary), as they promote the forthcoming Promenade album. Although the interview is conducted from Humberside, Rod and Billy are actually speaking from the Newcastle studio and relayed back to BBC Radio Humberside. Billy gives us an insight into songwriting and we hear two live numbers When Jones Gets Back To Town and Walking Back To Blueberry Hill.

Also from the same Humberside studio comes BBC Radio Norths Folk & Roots show, introduced by Henry Ayrton, networked throughout the North of England, and broadcast on February 21st. It consists of an interesting and worthwhile interview with the pair, five live tracks, one of which is the first airing on radio of Rods Freedom Square.

Tyne Tees Television screened Northstars in January. This was their rockumentary series on North East music. Rod has a guest appearance, and tells how the band evolved. He explains the controversial lyrics on his classic hit Meet Me On The Corner. More contributions to the Lindisfarne story come from Paddy McAloon (Prefab Sprout) and producer Geoff Wonfor (Rock of The North video), who both comment on Alan Hull and his unquestionable impact on the music scene. Incidentally the original broadcast programme shows rare vintage footage of Dave Wood working at Impulse studios, the roots of the bands recording history.

Finally we have four bonus tracks (returning again to Radio Humberside!) featuring The Happy Cats date unknown - comprising an interview and three live songs.
