Treat Me Kindly & 100 Miles To Liverpool
Alan Hull & Dave Denholm recorded 1995 live at Radio Newcastle pre Statues & Liberties

Kings Cross Blues & Jukebox Gypsy
Gleaned from cutting room footage, and the first of various tracks on this CD taken from obscure TV programmes. Recorded live for Revolver ITV show- late 70s

Friday Girl (edit)
Recorded live for Alright Now ITV show

About You

Live 1981 from the Rock on theTyne gig

Little Town Flirt
Ray Jackson Band recorded live for Alright Now ITV to promote his single release

I Wont Be Round You Anymore & Today, Tonight And Tomorrow
The Chosen Few (Alan Hulls first successful band commercially) reformed around 1983 for a one off appearance on a TV show called Come-In

Rocking Chair
Jack The Lad - The classic Billy Mitchell song recorded before a live audience for ITVs Supersonic show, 1970s

Nancy
Jack The Lad live - John Peel Show 21.5.74. A totally unique JTL jig exclusive to this CD

Mr. Bojangles & Walking Back To Blueberry Hill
Billy Mitchell 2004 at the Magnesia Bank recorded live - featuring Michael Bailey on double bass and Rachael Bailey on fiddle

Evening, Somewhere Out There, A Walk In The Sea, Raw Bacon, Dancing On The Judgement Day
Studio demos. Recorded spring 1975 at Impulse Studios, Wallsend. Engineered by Micky Sweeney, produced by Alan Hull. Interesting in that these tracks were recorded 2-4 years before their commercial release. Musicians are:

  • Alan Hull - Vocals, acoustic guitar, bass, keyboards, recorder
  • Bob Barton - Electric and acoustic guitars, backing vocals
  • Keith Fisher - Drums and percussion

Raw Bacon, another exclusive track to this CD. Track 5 features Joy Askew on sax & backing vocals

Clear White Light
Live at Quayside, Newcastle on 31.12.1999 around 10 p.m.
The very last song Lindisfarne performed in the last millenium - just before the firework display!

Cmon Everybody
Raucus TV ad from 1987 to promote the album of the same name. What it lacks in length is made up for in enthusiasm

Walk A Crooked Mile
Taken from a promo video clip (probably the first footage of the band post Hull), recorded live during rehearsals at the unofficial band headquarters - the Magnesia Bank public house, 1996

I Hate To See You Cry
Original studio recording Recorded in 2000. Taken from Ian McCallums solo album Faith Hope Charity. One of the best covers of an Alan Hull song! Used by kind permission of Ian McCallum
